Yesterday we have done some really touristy business in there. We have visited the "cool side" of Tokyo -Shibuya-, which happened to be super busy and crowded, neons and music from everywhere and anywhere. All the shops trying to catch your attention to enter inside and spend some money. Especially the famous shopping "world wide trend setting" street of Takashita. We also, of course, had to take around 20 pictures of Shibuya crossing from the first floor of Starbucks, like milion tourists before us.

That was the picture of Tokyo I knew from travel documents and which I expected since the beginning. Tokyo, from our experience, has more faces than that. For example our quarter -Asakusa- is much more calmer and with almost no people on the streets before 10 a.m., compared to Ginza or Shibuya. But I am no expert in the quarters here, we still have so many to discover.

On our metro ride back home at around 8 p.m., fully exhausted, we just asked each other, what did we actually do today that we are soo tired? Crowds, shops and people are so tiring to me.

Well, to be honest, the marketing worked well on me because it happened I was in a shop buying new jeans I wanted for a really long time. I find buying new trousers very stressful, that's why I didn't buy them earlier and was rather living without them. Silly, I know. But Shibuya travel fever got me and suddenly I really didn't want to leave without them. The funny story is that the sizes here start at 00, and the biggest size is 10. Compared to Europe where the size start, I believe, at 6 and the biggest one is 14. I felt like a giant walking pumpkin. But I am finally a happy owner of new pair of well fitting jeans. I am proud of myself I didnt buy any other unnecessary thing to carry throughout our travels, because the pressure was high. (Ok, we will not count the comics in japanese which I will never understand to but had such a cute cover I just couldn't resist and wanted it as a decoration to our bookshelf back in Prague, ok?)

Vcerejsek jsme stravili typickymi turistickymi aktivitami v Tokyu. Zavitali jsme do trendy ctvrti Shibuya, ktera primo preteka lidmi, obchody, neony a zvuky- hudbou, ktera hraje temer vsude. A vsechny obchudky vas lakaji do sveho nitra, abyste tam zanechali cast svych penez.

Davy lidi a obchody me neskutecne vycerpavaji.

Shibuya me ale nakazila nakupni horeckou a ja proste nemohla odejit bez nich.
